There’s something about getting ideas out into the world—even when they’re not fully polished.

This has been one of those pieces.

It’s been worked on, reworked, overthought, and revisited more times than I can count. There’s still more I could refine, more I could clean up. But at some point, you realize that waiting for “perfect” just keeps things from moving forward.

So here we are.

A small, honest update from our world.

For the past 12 years, ES&Co. has grown through relationships and getting to work with some really great people. I’m really grateful for that.

And behind the scenes, Bobby Schorr has been part of it for years.

Now he’s officially on board!

He’s stepped away from his corporate career and is focusing his work at ES&Co., and it already feels different in the best way.

More focused. More intentional.

I’ll share a few things we’ve been working on below. We’re still setting up his ES&Co. email so give him a holler at roberteschorr@gmail.com

Alright… I’m off to the grill.

Have a great weekend,
Elizabeth

First ride of Bobby’s “corporate-free life” and a slippery creek bed got him.
We fall down, we get back up.

What we’ve been working on…

A Simple Google Review Strategy That Works for Covenant Plumbing

Google Reviews are a big deal for your business.

Nearly 90% of customers read reviews before choosing who to call, and most people won’t leave one unless they’re asked.

One of the ways we’re working with Covenant Plumbing is by helping them build a simple, consistent system to generate reviews.

At the end of a job, a happy customer is met with a smile, a thank you, and a clear ask. Each technician hands over a card with a QR code that links directly to Google and says, “If you were happy with the work today, we’d really appreciate a review.”

It’s easy, it’s personal, and it works.

Then we layered in a little motivation. For every 5-star review a technician receives, they earn a $20 cash reward at the end of the month. It’s turned into a fun, competitive rhythm across the team, and everyone is paying attention.

This hasn’t solved everything overnight, but it has created a process.

A process for recognizing good work. A process for seeing what customers value. And a process for reinforcing the kind of service the team is working toward every day.

And it’s simple, but true. People like to be appreciated. Hearing “you did a great job” matters.

We believe this is money well spent. Instead of investing in things that don’t move the needle, this puts it directly back into the hands of the people delivering great service.

Better service. More reviews. A stronger business.

If your business could benefit from a more consistent review strategy, we’d love to help you think through what that could look like.

New Website Launch: Vaishali Jordan

Inspiring Healthy Lives

When Vaishali Jordan was ready to build her website, friends and colleagues sent her our way.

Vaishali is a licensed therapist in Georgia and the founder of Inspiring Healthy Lives, LLC. With more than a decade of experience, she works closely with children, parents, and caregivers—offering therapy, parent coaching, supervised visitation, and court-supported services that help families navigate difficult seasons and move toward stability.

We worked together to create a site that clearly communicates her work and makes it easy for people to understand how she can help.

These are some of our favorite projects—getting to sit alongside someone with a clear vision and help bring it to life in a way that feels thoughtful, polished, and easy to navigate.

New Website Launch: Hall, Bloch, Garland & Meyer

We’re excited to share the launch of a new website for Hall Bloch.

This project was all about creating a clean, professional digital presence that reflects the caliber of their work while making it easy for visitors to navigate and connect.

It’s always rewarding to see a site come together in a way that feels both elevated and functional.

Meet Czarina

If you’ve worked with us over the past several months, there’s a good chance you’ve already been in touch with Czarina.

She’s the one helping keep everything organized, moving forward, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. From timelines to details to behind-the-scenes systems, she plays a huge role in keeping things running smoothly for both our team and our clients.

Czarina is based in the Philippines and brings a wealth of knowledge when it comes to systems, processes, and thoughtful execution. She’s also incredibly attentive, proactive, and just genuinely wonderful to work with.

Outside of work, you’ll likely find her enjoying a slow morning, finding a cozy coffee shop, traveling when she can, or simply getting some well-earned downtime.

We’re so grateful to have her as part of ES&Co., and we’re excited for more of you to get to know her ✨

Historic Macon Flea Market is back this weekend!

One of Macon’s favorite traditions is happening this weekend with the Historic Macon Foundation Spring Flea Market.

For more than 40 years, this event has brought together everything from furniture and artwork to antiques and home goods—all collected and prepared by volunteers to support Historic Macon’s preservation work.

It only happens twice a year, and it’s always worth the trip. You’ll find great pieces, great deals, and you’re supporting the kind of work that keeps Macon looking like Macon.

Grab a friend and go dig around—you never know what you’ll find.

We’ve really enjoyed getting to know the family behind Monroe Farms & Grading.

Are you on Sheridan Solomon & Assoc.’s Friday Email List?

Each Friday, Sheridan Solomon & Associates sends a weekly email featuring the newest listings from the week—a rhythm we’ve helped them build—and this time of year, the market is moving.

If you’re not already receiving it, it’s a great way to see what’s new as it hits the market.

Email is still one of the most effective ways to communicate with your audience. While social media has its place, you can’t rely on it alone. Showing up consistently in someone’s inbox keeps you top of mind in a way few other channels can.

If you’ve been thinking about adding a weekly, monthly, or quarterly email to your marketing, let us help you build a strategy that works.

Cherry Blossom season in Macon

Macon is showing off this week, and we’ve loved being part of the energy around the Cherry Blossom Festival.

Sharing a few moments from the parade and ribbon cutting—such a fun way to kick things off for what many call “The Pinkest Party on Earth.”

Watching the community show up the way it does every year has been a reminder of how special this place is.

Through our work with Ronald McDonald House we had the chance to help coordinate the creation of a parade float this year, and getting to see that come to life was so much fun! If you haven’t already, head over to Instagram to check out our visit with Kip Dingler, the talented creator behind the float. Did you know we have a nationally recognized float designer who produces 70+ floats per year right here in Macon? Kip is a really nice guy! Check out his website: Kipdingler.com

I’ve always loved the Cherry Blossom Festival. After all, my very first business as a child was a pink lemonade stand at the end of my driveway on Oxford Road, right along the cherry blossom trail.

Happy spring—and as always, let us know if we can help you!

Thank you! We’re genuinely excited every day to do this work.
